6th Annual Cape Cod Comedy Festival
The 6th Annual CAPE COD COMEDY FEST returns to the Cape Cod Fair Grounds in Falmouth on Saturday, September 22nd featuring comedians from New York, Boston and Springfield! Headliners, feature acts and some hot up & comers will be featured as well.
Already announced are Headlining Comedian JIM COLLITON (COMEDY CENTRAL, SIRIUS XM RADIO) Comedian STEVE DONOVAN (Host of LITE ROCK105 FM) CAROLYN RILEY..recent winner of "The Funniest Person in Massachusetts and "Next Big Catch Festivals". Also scheduled to appear is rising stand-up star KRISTINE BLINN from Springfield, JAMES DORSEY -winner of Twin River Casino's "Catch A New Rising Star" and runner-up in this years "Next Big Catch Comedy Contest".
This years extravaganza is co-hosted by PIXY 103FMs Afternoon DJ MATT BARRY and World Gone Crazy's GARY MARINO. MORE acts to be announced all month long in August!
Also NEW! Medford's Johnny Mac will be performing acoustic rock & roll favorites during the pre-show!
Doors Open at 5pm for pre-show live music, contests and giveaways and come early to enjoy beer and food!The Comedy Show begins at 7pm till 9:30pm

Scholarship Program. Each year the Barnstable County Agricultural Society gives scholarships to qualifying seniors and college students on the Cape. Applicant must be entered in a course relating to: Agriculture, Aquaculture, Green Sciences, Turf/Grass Management, Marine Sciences, Equine Sciences, Veterinarian, Family and Consumer Sciences to include Interior Design, Clothing and Textiles, Culinary Arts, Nutrition and Food Preservation.
ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:
GARY MARINO (host)
Bostons Gary Marino is a comedian, musician, published author, film-maker and live show producer. He has performed at Laugh Boston, Showcase Live at Gillette Stadium, Newport Grand Casino, Chatham Bars Inn and resorts such as The Cape Codder, Seacrest, Burke Mountain, Wachusett and Gunstock among many other venues. Marino recently opened for acclaimed humorist Loretta LaRoche . In the past Marino appeared regularly on ABCs Live With Regis & Kelly, Fox News over 300 radio stations nationwide and in print media such as USA Today and People Magazine.He shared the stage with Lenny Clarke at the 5th Annual The Cape Cod Comedy Festival as well as delivered over 200 humorous presentations for Blue Cross Blue Shield between 2004 and 2010. When not hosting shows, charity events and cooking competitions, Marino can be found performing with his comedy band World Gone Crazy: The Comedic Rock & Roll Circus which has been touring New England since 2011. In the summer of 2016 Marino and World Gone Crazy had a weekly residency aboard the Music City Queen in Boston Harbor. Marino got his start in the late 1980s as a producer, writer and on-air side kick on KISS 108FM and has guest hosted on morning shows on WROR-FM and WTKK-FM among others. In the summer of 2017 Gary made multiple appearances guest hosting The Morning Show on North Shore 104.9FM. Marinos 2008 documentary Million Calorie March: The Movie won the prestigious International Freddie Health Award (essentially medical Oscar) where he received congratulations live via satellite from U2s Bono.
MATTY B from PIXY 103 (CO-HOST)
PIXY 103's MattyB has been rocking Cape Cod's airwaves for 10 years!!! When he isn't behind the mic on the radio, you can usually find him behind one singing karaoke with a beer in his hand. He is an All-American city boy, raised in the 'burbs, living life in vacationville. He enjoys craft beer, face melting rock 'n' roll, singing loudly at inappropriate times and bacon.

JIM COLLITON (HEADLINER)
Jim has been seen on national television shows like Ed McMahons Next Big Star, Comcast Comedy Spot Light and Comedy Central Laugh Riots. Jim can also be heard on XM Satellite Radios Comedy Channel. Jim has grown up in the suburbs and now lives with his wife and three children in the suburbs. What does he talk about? If you have ever been embarrassed about the contents of your recycling bin or tried to kill a flying bat in your house you will find Jims comedy hilarious. If none of these thing hits home, Jim has also stolen a school bus and everyone finds that story funny. Jims love for performing comes out every time he takes the stage, whether performing for 30, 300 or even 3000 people (yes, this has happened a few times). Jims comedy is funny, but also clean. This has helped him stay busy working all across the country.
STEPHEN DONOVAN
After years of performing in New York City's finest comedy clubs, Steve has spent the last 15 years in Massachusetts on the #1 Rated Morning Show in 5 states - the Zito & Jen Show on 104.5FM WXLO. Today Steve can be heard on Lite105fm in Rhode Island co-hosting the morning show with Heather Gerston.
Steve regularly appears at Mohegan Sun and colleges up and down the East Coast.
KRISTINE BLINN
Rising comedy star Kristine Blinn hails from Springfield but entertains crowds all over the Northeast with stories about her family, her dating life and her experiences as a teacher. She performs regularly at MIX931 Comedy Nights with Chris Zito, and venues such as the Hartford Funny Bone, Mohegan Sun Casino, Jiminy Peak Resort, Salernos Seaside Function Hall among others. Kristine was selected to perform at this years Cape Cod Comedy Festival!
JAMES DORSEY
After receiving his first D-minus for conduct in the second grade, James realized school was not his cup of tea. So he took his disruptive in class trademark to the stand-up stage and never looked back! He shares life experiences through high energy, witty act outs and facial expressions. His use of imitations and characters is incredibly vivid and entertaining.
James was the Grand Prize winner of the Catch a New Rising Star competition as well as the Grand Prize Winner of the Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival. James has been featured on the cover of Worcester Magazine, The Boston Heralds Inside Track, on Spike TV, the MyTV Network, Comcast on Demand and was invited to perform in the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival in 2014 .
James performance on stage has been described as Flawless, smooth and original. A born professional. James has shared the stage with Gilbert Gottfried, Billy Gardell, Lenny Clarke, Gary Gullman, Don Gavin, Steve Sweeney, Bryan Callen and Steven Wright. He can be seen in every major comedy club in New England and will remain in your head and heart long after he has made his exit from the stage!!
CAROLYN RILEY
Carolyn Riley is a Boston based comedian who has established herself as a smart, stand-out voice in the Boston comedy scene. Recently named Laugh Boston's "Funniest Person in Massachusetts," and formerly The University of New Hampshire's "Funniest Person on Campus," she has opened for national headliners including Chris Distefano (MTV's "Guy Code"), Laurie Kilmartin (Last Comic Standing Finalist, Conan Staff Writer). Carolyn has also made appearances on John Fugelsang's "Tell Me Everything" and "Stand Up with Pete Dominick" on Sirius XM radio. Carolyn was recently crowned The North Shore's "Next Big Catch", and can be found regularly at Laugh Boston, Nick's Comedy Stop, and The Comedy Studio.
