North City Jazz Walk 2018

On Tuesday evening, August 14, 2018, join us for North City's twelfth annual Jazz Walk in Shoreline, Washington. This year we have an outstanding line-up of 10 bands that includes returning favorites as well as some new talent.

Starting at 6pm, five blocks of 15th Avenue NE will be closed off, allowing everyone to stroll from one venue to another, enjoying a unique selection of Jazz Bites food and beverages prepared for the event.

Music begins at 6:30 pm for the outdoor venues and 7:00 pm for the indoor venues. Come listen to some of the Pacific Northwest's finest live jazz bands and singers, each performing three 50 minute sets at their respective venue. This year's line-up includes:

-Greta Matassa at Easy Monkey Taphouse - inside downstairs
-The Jacqueline Tabor Jazz Band at North City Lounge - inside, adults only
-Hook Me Up at Frank Lumber Delivery Store - OTP
-Susan Pascal Quintet and Pete Christlieb at Industrial Air - outside
-Pearl Django at North City Water District - inside
-Birch Pereira and the Gin Joints at Vesper - inside
-Shoreline Community College Youth Jam Session with Chas Rinee at Bethel Lutheran Church - inside
-Mercy Merci at Easy Monkey Taphouse - inside upstairs
-Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra "SWOJO" at Dorian Photography - OTP
-Dmitri Matheny Group at North City Bistro and Wine Shop - inside

Although 2 of the outdoor venues are open to the public (OTP), tickets will allow you full access to all 10 venues. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event.
