24th Street Theatre, Sandra Tsing Loh and Frier McCollister welcome the Father of the Modern Monologue, Shelley Berman, to 24th Street Theatre!
The legendary actor, comedian and writer will be performing a selection of his original classic monologues.
Best known to modern audiences as Larry David's father, Nat, in HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Shelley Berman invented the modern comedic stage monologue in the 1950's with his classic phone improvs, still available on his Grammy-winning recordings. _________________________
24th Street Theatre is a 99-seat theatre located in North University Park by USC and just west of downtown LA.
Seating is general admission and wheelchair-accessible.
Lobby doors open an hour before the event and concessions will be sold.
