Catholic School Girls
This satire of Catholic school life in the 1960s uses four actresses to play the nuns as well as the students at St. George's School in Yonkers, as they experience bonds of friendship, endure reprimands from authority figures and pressures from home. In the plays time frame they amusingly react to such iconic experiences as the Beatles, the Addams Family television show, the Supremes, the space race, the cold war and the election of a Catholic president in an amusing portrait of girls maturing to the threshold of adolescence. "Fine, funny, loving." Hollywood Reporter. "Brilliant.A rollicking comedy that speaks to anyone who has known the terrible fears and insecurities that so often accompanythe carefree days of youth." -Westport News
