The Babies
Fronted by Woods bassist Kevin Morby alongside Vivan Girls' Cassie Ramone, the band was originally conceieved as a side-project outlet for Kevin and Cassie along with drummer Justin Sullivan to play the DIY venues and loft shows they used to play before their respective bands moved on to larger venues and longer tours.
After their first full length album on Shrimper Records, a demos EP on New Images, and scores of singles on U.S. and international record labels, The Babies second album Our House On The Hill (out last November on Woodist Records), has seen the project grow into a more full-time affair.
