Inappropriate artfully portrays Ann's wild, triumphant life-affirming saga: from living in a mental institution in Appalachia; to hooking up with Mel Brooks and the late Anne Bancroft for an Off-Broadway run on 42nd St; to teaching thousands to take the stage and speak their own truths. Ann is an Ovation Award winning playwright and performer. Her multi-character solo show "Squeeze Box" was originally produced by Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft and went on to become a critically acclaimed Off-Broadway hit. Her most recent solo show, "Loveland" was named Best Solo Show San Francisco by the San Francisco Examiner. She also teaches annually at Esalen, Kripalu and the Omega Institute.
