2018 ChYLI Fiesta
The Cherryland Youth Leadership Institute (ChYLI), now in its seventh year of operation, is fully subscribed for 2018.
This program builds on the cultural strengths and values of participating families and introduces Eden Area youth to academic, social, and practical experiences that strengthen participants' capacity to succeed in school, employment, and community life.
The 2018 program begins on July 5 with colleague tours and participation in an ocean stewardship program in the Monterrey Bay Area, and culminates with the ChYLI Fiesta on Friday, Aug 10, from 6-8pm in Oliver Hall on the Eden Church campus. Traditional Mexican cuisine will be served.
This program is underwritten by Eden United Church of Christ and our ChYLI Friends, and is offered free of charge to students ages 14 to 18 (entering 9-12th grades) who live in the Eden Area.
