GEOFF BERNER For the past 15 years or so, Jewish-Canadian accordion player/singer-songwriter/novelist Geoff Berner has travelled the world. Hes played in bars, cafes, festivals, and the occasional stadium. Hes performed in 17 countries, on national radio in 7 of them. All over Canada, Europe, and America, Berner has garnered a sizable, passionate following of odd, bookish people who like to drink. He packs venues in places like Berlin, London, Oslo, Zurich, Seattle, Toronto, Edmonton and his home city of Vancouver. https://geoffberner.bandcamp.com/
JASON WEBLEY Accordion troubadour, Jason Webley began his music career in 1998 howling on street corners in Seattles University District and the Folk Life and Bumbershoot music festivals. Armed with his squeezebox, beat-up parlor guitar, and porkpie hat, Webley has performed in over forty countries. Hes shared the stage with the Avett Brothers, the Dresden Dolls, and author Neil Gaiman. Webley has released five albums on his own Eleven Records label, as well as numerous collaborations, including the 2010 album Evelyn Evelyn with Dresden Dolls singer, Amanda Palmer. His most recent projects have focused on the local history of Webleys hometown of Everett, Washington. With his 2014 release, Margaret, Webley brought together a cast of songwriters to tell the unlikely and magical story of Margaret Rucker, the daughter of one of Everetts founders, whose scrapbook was found in a San Francisco dumpster. https://jasonwebley.bandcamp.com/
EVERETT DISTRICTS NOW Everett Districts Now is a nonpartisan, grassroots coalition of community members from around the city, including elected officials, union members and civic organizations that believe better representation is in our future. We have seen other cities with under-represented populations thrive once they created their districts. We have seen communities grow around their new districts and their new district representatives. By improving representation and involvement, we have seen the people and their government grow closer. We have seen the benefits and we want Everett to have the same. We believe it is time for a fair, just and truly representative process for electing our city council members. We believe its time for Everett Districts Now! https://districtsnow.org/
