The Legends of Robin Hood

Hear ye! Hear ye! Directly from Sherwood Forest Faire, Robin Hood and his merry band of outlaws are stirring up mischief this summer at Austin Scottish Rite Theater. Come see Robin, Maid Marian, Friar Tuck, Little John, and all the rest outwit the Sheriff of Nottingham in the original adventure story of Merry Olde England. With live music by Alan A Dale accompanying the fantastic Sherwood Forest Faire players, this is action-packed fun for the whole family!

Austin Scottish Rite Theater is Austin's oldest and dearest theater, built in 1871. Children sit on carpets close to the action while grown-ups enjoy the beauty and comfort of this historic gem. With its century-old handpainted backdrops and restored starry ceiling, there is something for everyone.

Sherwood Forest Faire, now in its ninth year, is a popular Texas destination. This production, especially written and produced for Austin Scottish Rite Theater's young audiences, provides a rare opportunity for families to experience the characters of Sherwood Forest Faire indoors in a convenient Austin space.
