Workshop Dates are Mon 8/6, Wed 8/8 and Fri 8/10 from 10am-4pm.
Reinvent yourself and learn the process of creating advanced technique castings that are so realistic looking, you'd never know the difference between that of a cloned version of yourself. Skies the limit as to the final product by transforming yourself into anything you want such as a cyborg, anthropomorphic beast or super human version of yourself. Alternatively just keep it simple and paint a lifelike clone of yourself.
This workshop is themed after Face Off, a popular SyFy television competition/elimination series where special effects make-up artists participate in elaborate challenges for a grand prize and the honor of being Hollywood's next great effects artist. There will be a competition at the end where students will vote for the top 3 masks based on categories that will be taught at workshop.
We encourage students to bring some of their own embellishments or add from our collection of paint and decor. This real life molding product is made from organic ingredients. With care, your masterpiece should last forever with techniques used to replicate authentic looking Hollywood creations.
BIO: Raven Reithmeier, owner of Lasting Impressions is leading this series. She was awarded Strathmore's Who's Who Award limited to individuals who have demonstrated leadership and achievement in their occupation industry and profession.
