The AIA Middle TN Academy of Architecture for Health committee has developed a series of education seminars on healthcare design that are taught by experienced industry professionals. The Healthcare 101 series consists of introductory courses on the fundamentals of healthcare design and is primarily targeted for emerging professionals and those wanting to learn more about the healthcare design industry.
This session, Healthcare 101: An Introduction to Healthcare Programming, is an introductory course to the fundamentals of hospital planning with programming. Three seasoned professionals with over 100 years of experience will overview a range of planning tools, techniques, and perspectives. During this course you will review current industry trends, market analysis techniques, operational assessments, key clinical capacity calculations, and functional and space programming development.
