What is the sound of the Hudson Valley? One Quiet Plunge and the Howland Cultural Center present country/.../city/.../, a program that explores the uniqueness of the Valley's rural and urban landscapes through sound. Commissions of new works by Mark Dziuba, Vinnie Martucci, Caroline Mallonee and Hannah Selen, grew from locales that held personal meaning for each composer and will be premiered by Christiana Fortune-Reader (viola) and Alex Peh (piano.
