A Swiftly Tilting Planet: The Changing World of Children's Book Publishing Wed. April 24th 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Alex Arnold, Editorial Assistant at Katherine Tegen Books, discusses the ever-evolving landscape of children's book publishing, with an emphasis on young adult and middle grade fiction. This session will include a Q & A, and participants will receive an invitation and guidelines for submitting a middle grade or YA manuscript to Alex.

Alex Arnold, Editorial Assistant, supports two executive editors at Katherine Tegen Books (an imprint of HarperCollins Children's Books) where she works on young adult and middle grade fiction. She is a member of the Young to Publishing planning committee, which provides educational programming and networking events for junior publishing professionals. Previously, Alex interned for Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, and spent time as a reader for Curtis Brown Literary Agency. She also has experience as a Barnes & Noble bookseller.
