The first ever. Yes ever! Barkley Village Concert on the Green. We're breaking in this new concert venue with three great local bands: Polecat, The Naughty Blokes, and SunsetSuperman. We're serving beer from three local breweries: Aslan, Boundary Bay, and Kulshan, all poured by Overflow Taps, plus you'll find food trucks for savory and sweet eats. And we're making it fun to do good! Your ticket purchase will benefit Lydia Place, a non-profit helping disrupt the cycle of homelessness in Bellingham and promoting sustained independence for current and future generations.
Polecat will bring their stomp to Bellingham, and if you have yet to hear and see what's firing up crowds from here to Bend, Oregon, you need to get your ticket now. Pop Matters describes the band as five mad scientists who aren't afraid of rejecting predictability and conformism...sound like someone you know? Hello Bellinghamsters and all North Westerners! With over 700 appearances and four albums in eight years, Polecat's unique instrumentation and smart song arrangements blend genres including Americana, Celtic, rock, reggae, and world music into their sound.
