Summer Orchard Care
The third and final class of the Orchard Management Series, this short and sweet summer workshop will address any particular issues you might be having with your orchard fruit trees.
9am-12pm

Topics include:
-All About Summer Pruning - Preventing Shoots/Suckers & Pruning for Optimal Fruit Production
-Water Management - Evapotranspiration and Irrigation (how much water does my tree need?)
-Orchard Trees & Soils - Soil Ribbon Testing and Water Holding Capacity
-A Focus on Apples & Pears (stone fruit and specialty fruits will not be specifically covered)
