Spirit Rising Music Party and Fundraiser for the Himat Initiative at the Ironwood Stage and Grill
This is the 3rd annual Spirit Rising Music Party and Fundraiser for the Himat Project in northern Pakistan. The event will feature live music (details to be released once the performers are confirmed), an eclectic offering of silent auction items, and the chance to connect with friends you already know and those you are meeting for the first time.
The funds raised at this event help support poverty alleviation in 120 villages of the Hunza region in the high Himalayan Mountains of northern Pakistan through the development of strong women's and area development councils, small savings and loans programs, the start up of dozens of new small businesses and Himat's outreach to the poorest of the poor.
