Calling all Flower Children: Remember the "Summer of Love?" Was it really 50 years ago? Here's your chance to recreate your favorite memories of the '60s or experience it for the first time. Hennepin History Museum is hosting a tie-dye party in the front yard. Bring your own cotton t-shirt and we'll provide the ties, the dye and the expert advice to help you create your own wearable tribute to the '60s. This is a hands-on event, so wear clothes that you don't mind getting dye on. Great event for all ages! The galleries will be open late and we will have refreshments, camaraderie and a special '60s soundtrack.
Space is limited, please reserve your tickets in advance. $10; $8 for museum members.
Please note that visiting the museum at this time does require the use of stairs.
