The Rendezvous is one of NYC's hottest and longest running monthly events featuring live performances from some of the most talented independent artists in the music industry.
The next edition of The Rendezvous is very special as it will feature an intimate performance from hot indie artist from Seattle, WA - CHOKLATE!

CHOKLATE infuses her sultry alto voice with hard, progressive beats and very real lyrics sparking many different kinds of emotions. "All of the music that I make is from my soul," Choklate genuinely confirms. CHOKLATE has been nominated for a SoulTracks Award for 'Female Vocalist of the Year;' and was a winner of a HoneySoul 'Best of 2006' Award and the AGAPE Indie Artist Award for 'Female R&B/Soul Artist of the Year.'
TNT (Trish N' Tom), first and foremost are soul mates. The two singers, musicians, and songwriters met as members of the soul-funk band Pryme Tyme. This dynamic duo is based in the Greater New York City and the surrounding areas. While their influences are many, the most significant influence would be the music of the seventies. The sound is an eclectic blend of soul, funk, rock, jazz, house, hip hop and gospel. There are no gimmicks, it's simply good music.
RACHEL WALKER is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer whose music is best described as "Sweet Soul". A native New Yorker born to Jamaican parents, Rachel was exposed to a variety of musical influences at an early age, helping to cultivate her love and talent for the performing arts. Rachel has performed at a number of popular and historic New York City venues such as The Apollo Theatre and Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar.

The Rendezvous as always takes place at Shrine World Music Venue at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. bet. 133rd & 134th Street in Harlem, NYC. Doors open at 7PM. Performances begin at 8:00PM. Admission is $10.00.
