Bay Area award winning literary series SIZZLE

Please join Femina Potens for SIZZLE, the monthly Bay Area award winning literary series. SIZZLE heats up the Castro on the second Saturday of every month with noted queer and erotic authors, spoken word artists and performers.

"Living Through This" featuring cutting-edge artists explore their use of art to survive madness, abuse, incest, depression, and the impulse toward self-destruction manifest in eating disorders, cutting, addiction, and contemplation of suicide. Confronting the brutality many women
and girls encounter in the world around them, and
bravely takes as its subject the often misunderstood violence they at times inflict upon themselves. Hosted by Madison Young Featuring Sabrina Chapadjiev, Daphne Gottlieb, and Carol Queen.

Doors/Open Mic Sign-up @ 7:30 pm
$10 to $15 sliding scale admission ($5/open mic performers) for an evening of hot words, dessert, wine, and discussion.
