If you want to up your game when it comes to performing your songs for an audience, this workshop is for YOU. Connecting with your audience, through stories, mixing up a variety of playing styles - no matter the genre or genres, playing to the room, and setting the stage to let the magic happen, is all part of delivering a memorable performance.
He will share stories of his performing experiences - both good and bad - and will provide tips and yes, tricks for making your performances memorable. Whether youre playing a few songs at an open mic, or putting together a full evening for a dance crowd or a listening audience - you are going to learn from someone who has been engaging audiences both in Canada and abroad, for many years.
About the Instructor: John is familiar to Port Alberni audiences, having played at Chars Landing, La Brushetta, the Blue Marlin, and several house concerts many times over the years He performs solo/acoustic as well as with his rock/blues band.
