COTE: Tiny Houses on Wheels and Straw Bale
Attendees will learn about two form factors of "tiny" housing. The first being on wheels made with steel studs from recycled cars and insulated with a soy-based spray foam. The second on a foundation, with 2"x"6" wood framing, and light straw clay/straw bale insulation
Learning Objectives:
-Attendees will learn how both of these houses were constructed -Attendees will observe two example alternatives to fiberglass insulation (soy spray foam and light straw clay/straw bale) -Attendees will understand why earthen plaster is amazing -Attendees will learn and understand the pros and cons of tiny houses on wheels
