Lip Sync Slam
Some of Atlanta's favorite poets, performance artist, storytellers and comedians step into new shoes and lip sync to their favorite songs. Anything goes in this specialized slam, costumes, props, feather boas bring all the shiny things and dazzle us. There will be 10 competitors,2 rounds, 1 winner.
This is a fundraiser for the Art Amok Slam Team as they prepare to represent Atlanta Georgia, and the Red Light Cafe at the National Poetry Slam in Chicago, Illinois this August.
Atlanta has a rich artistic community, let's let our hair down tonight and enjoy being silly with each other.
