Have you every wanted to try stand up? You think you can go toe to toe with the pros? Here's your chance!
Hitting the stage will be touring headliner, Eulalio Magana and his hilarious friends! They are bring their comedy from comedy clubs to the Martinez CA's Campbell theater!
You will see professional comedy from comics who have performed at clubs like the Punchline, Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store plus who have appeared on movies and TV!
Headlining will be Eulalio Magana
Eulalio Magana is a comedian who had to be funny to survive. He dropped out of college to become a comedian. Which he admits, wasn't the smartest thing to do, but thankful his comedy was smart and funny enough to take him from performing at pizza places for some gas money and free pizza to performing at comedy clubs, casinos, colleges and theaters all over the country.
Eulalio's style has been called authentic with surprise punchlines you don't see coming. Mixed in with rapid fired riffing and crowd interaction that makes his act very unpredictable and never boring. His comedy style could be called a cross between Mitch Hedberg, Rodney Dangerfield and Don Rickles.
He has a comedy album on iTunes, appeared on EstrellaTV and has had jokes featured by FunnyOrDie.com.
Sandra Risser Image may contain: 1 person, smiling Bio: Sandra is a quick witted, vibrant comedian whose impressive credits include headlining comedy clubs and casinos across the country, being a finalist in The World Series of Comedy Main Event in Las Vegas NV and being named by the San Francisco Chronicle as one of six Bay Area comedians to be sure to see.
With self deprecating stories, one-liners and tales about her ex-husband and life from an "older woman's" perspective, or as she's quick to point out "I'm not old. I'm used!"
Charlie Spink
Bio: Charlie Spink has been making others laugh since five-year-old. In High school he became the talk of campus through his outrageous song parodies and on the stage of the school drama department. In college he was awarded by the Society of Professional Journalists twice for his work. He opened for Bob Saget at only 19-years-old and to this day is a favorite at comedy clubs all over the country.
Tito Gonzalez
Bio: Tito has spent his whole life making people laugh. He honed his comic chops playing pranks, school plays and eventually joining a skateboarding crew and filmed multiple videos skateboarding videos with a comedic slant. After high school, Tito spent a few years working as a mechanic and was dared by his friend to try stand up and never looked back. Now his honest style dares you not to laugh.
Aja Mae
Bio: Georgia born and California raised, Aja Mae spent years attending comedy shows in her home town of Sacramento until one day she decided to go from being a fan to performing those same stages. Now she is now performing on stages all across Northern California and beyond showcasing her hilarious sense of humor and contagious energy. Self professed Queen of the North, Aja Mae is here to stay and change lives one giggle at a time.
Hank Romero
Bio: Hank Romero does comedy how it used to be, no holds barred but funny for everyone. Much like his ethnicity (Mexican & German), his style mixes sharp word play with a crisp delivery to often tackle darker or taboo topics with a wholesome charm.
