Santa Cruz legends come together for a special evening of Tropical American & Roots Originals

We grew up in the 60's & 70's surfing and making music together around Santa Cruz, California. Our new just released album is Walk On Water. Jerry Best and David Adams experienced a lot of firsts together. Last year we got together to write a bunch of new songs very much inspired by those experiences, lyrically drawn from that time of our lives. We were determined to write and record the songs in a fashion that crossed through generations and that were musically diverse and accessible. Jerry and David (both of The Chokes), joined by guitarist Jimmy Jackson (of Lacy J Dalton and Michael Nesmith), collaborated to complete the project resulting in 11 original songs on the new album. Jerry Best: lead vocals, guitar / David Adams: bass, vocals / Jimmy Jackson: lead guitars, resonator guitar, lap steel guitar, mandolin // Ken Margolis: keyboards and vocals.
