Colin Thomas Bryce & Gina Baker
Scottish born Colin is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he trained in opera and musical theatre and was a recipient of the Leverhulme Scholarship. His career to date has seen him performing internationally in a variety of capacities including as a concert soloist, as a headline act with vocal groups the Opera Boys and Ancora (between UK theatre tours and as guest entertainers onboard Cunard, Crystal, Celebrity, Norwegian and P&O Cruises) and as a vocalist for Scottish radio, including being the voice of restaurant chain Tony Macaroni. In Scotland he performs regularly across the central belt as a soloist for Music in Hospitals & Care. Further to his work as a singer, Colin hosts and co-produces the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama's Annual Burns Night; an event which has solidified itself as a highlight within the colleges performance calendar and has just celebrated its sixth year as a sell-out event.
Scottish pianist Gina Baker is a much sought-after accompanist and repetiteur in Scotland and northern England. She graduated with a BMus(Hons) degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2011, and a Masters in Music Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2013. In 2015 and 2017, she toured with the Edinburgh branch to the Aberdeen International Youth Festival and performed with the Edinburgh Chamber Choir at the opening ceremony of the Scottish Parliament in 2016. She is the official accompanist for the Scottish Brass Band solo competitions and the Edinburgh Competition Festival.
