An Evening with John Gurda to Benefit BVCC
For the second year in a row, the BVCC will be hosting beloved Milwaukee historian (and Bay View neighbor!) John Gurda (www.johngurda.com) on July 12 for his talk, Milwaukee: A City Built on Water, at 88Nine Radio Milwaukee's Community Room in Walker's Point at 220 E. Pittsburgh Ave.
Join us for food from one of Milwaukee's most exciting new restaurants, Birch+Butcher, drinks, a raffle and live music, followed by a lively talk on Milwaukee's waterfront history with Mr. Gurda. Proceeds from tickets and raffle will benefit the Bay View Community Center's programs, which are in critical need of additional funding.
