Early music audiences know Andreas Scholl and of his extraordinary career as one of the greatest countertenors of our time. Early Music Voices is thrilled to be presenting this world-renowned singer giving Calgary audiences the opportunity to hear him up close, in the intimate surroundings of Christ Church Elbow Park.
Accompanying him will be lutenist, Edin Karamazov, who has performed with many great artists in his varied career including Renée Fleming, Kaliopi and Sting.
These two will perform music by Dowland, Campion and Handel as well as traditional folk songs.
