DJ Bone hails from Detroit, Techno City, where it all began. A city rich with influences both good and bad. An industrial auto Mecca mixed with Motown and Iggy Pop. These influences combined with countless others to shape the vibe that infected Bone and his dj-ing.
His dj sessions have been witnessed by thousands the world over. From London to Singapore, Croatia to Paris and back, Bone has been moving crowds with his unique and innovative three deck dj-ing style. He is one of the few who possess the ability to stay true to himself, his crowd and the music.
He is considered a champion of the Underground, maintaining his roots while expanding minds and emotions at home and abroad. Believing in ability as opposed to hype and politics has helped establish him on all levels.
Numerous accolades such as being voted "Outstanding Electronic DJ" at the 2000 Detroit Music Awards goes on to prove his effect behind the turntables. He pushes things forward every time he spins and leaves people speechless.
Wednesday, November 27, 2002 will mark the debut of DJ Bone in
Los Angeles. Along with DJ Gruven (IdealVibes, LA). Together with our super resident DJs: Blue, Trim, and Trevor. Don't miss it.
