H.A.G.S. (Have A Great Summer)
1995. Ten years after the big hair and bad attitudes of high school gave way to the happily ever after of adulthood...or so the class of 1985 would like everyone to believe. But at their ten-year reunion it turns out everyone has a secret to hide. And as Paulette sees her husband fall for another woman, she realizes she can either keep on pretending to be her dream version of adult, or actually grow up and make some hard choices. An ensemble comedy about identity, purpose, and the mystery of being who we're meant to be.

About the Project: Penguin Productions has commissioned Keiko Green to write a play for young artists this summer. Actors have input into the characters they end up playing, as well as the play's setting, theme, and style.
The play will run at 12th Avenue Arts, thanks to an exciting new partnership with the Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society. Student designers and actors will be working hand-in-hand with professional designers to create a totally new, professional level theater experience that we are all excited to share with you!
Penguin Productions is powered by Shunpike.
