LAZARUS - by Tom Anastasi - NYSummerfest Theater Festival 2018
This play is based on the biblical story of the life of Lazarus, his friendship with Jesus, Lazarus' death and resurrection, and the time after. While true to the biblical text, it imagines details of this relationship, including Jesus "'with his hair down" sharing meals, playing games and joking around.
