Early Music Voices: Handel's Messiah
Pre-concert talk at 7pm.
A full performance of Handel's beloved Messiah with guest soloists and an elite 16-voice choir made up of VoiceScapes and other professional singers. These will be joined by Rosa Barocca on period instruments, all led by Claude Lapalme. Early Music Voices is excited to offer Calgary this beautiful, traditional Christmas experience this season. Hear Messiah in the warm, intimate acoustic of Christ Church Elbow Park.
Soloists: Gillian Keith, soprano; Christina Stelmacovich, mezzo-soprano; Benjamin Butterfield, tenor; Andrew Mahon, bass-baritone.
