Wyatt Earp: A Life On The Frontier ~ and ~ Music from Sue Harris
The great-grandnephew of Wyatt Earp will be performing his historic, one-man Bio-Drama entitled Wyatt Earp, A Life on The Frontier. This is the story that Hollywood never told, and is about the man, not the myth. Set in 1928, an elderly Wyatt Earp talks to Stuart Lake in the Earp's Los Angeles apartment, and tells of his adventures in the final days of the American frontier, from Arizona to Alaska. He tells of his time in Tombstone, Arizona, his life afterward, and follows the sometimes-turbulent times of the couple's 47-year life together as they traveled and prospected throughout the west and Alaska.
Wyatt Earp: "A Life on The Frontier" won the AriZoni award in 1996, and has had over 755 performances throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. The plays that Terry Tafoya Earp have written, and that both Wyatt and Terry star in, are historically-based plays and are a part of the Tombstone Saga.
Sue Harris is an engaging singer/songwriter/guitarist whose unique voice and warm approach draws audiences in to a world of songs, stories, laughter and the occasional tear. Sue presents original, contemporary and traditional material, much of it focusing on, but not limited to, the American West.
Doors will open at 7pm, with Wyatt's production beginning at 7:30pm (note early start time please!). Sue's musical set will begin at around 9pm. All around a full night of celebrating our southwest history and how far we have come to get to where we are today... and we might even learn something new! Admission $10 advance sales, and $15 at the door.
