Details of collaborators for this extravaganza:
Santiago Achával of Achaval Ferrer and Jon Staenberg are co-founders of Hand of God, which recently launched its inaugural wines in North America. Santiago, winemaker for Hand of God, fell in love with wines and winemaking during frequent visits to Napa Valley while receiving his MBA from Stanford. Achaval-Ferrer boasts four of the five highest rated wines from Argentina (two 99's and three 98's), as awarded by Wine Spectator and holds numerous 90+ points from Wine Advocate. He has been dubbed 'the master of Malbec' by Wine Spectator.
Ryan Crane of Kerloo Cellars produced his first wine in 2007 after selling his West Seattle home and moving east. Since then, Kerloo has gained high honors from Tasting Room magazine, Northwest Wine Anthem, Seattle Met and many more.
Guided by an unyielding commitment to excellence, and dedicated to sustainable and bio-diverse viticultural practices, the owners of Otis Kenyon are passionate growers and producers of elegantly structured and affordable Bordeaux and Rhone varietal wines at Otis Kenyon. Winemaker Dave Stephenson has garnered a cult following for these wines.
Waters is an artisanal boutique winery located in Walla Walla, Washington. Waters was founded in 2005 based on the indelible belief that the Walla Walla Valley terroir is capable of producing distinctive red wines that rival the finest of the Old and New World regions alike. The Seattle Times, Sunset Magazine and Bon Appetit are amongst many to highlight this winery's achievements. Winemaker and former Seattlite Jamie Brown is a fast-rising star in the wine world.
Last but not least, Chef at Skillet Diner and Skillet Street Food, Brian O'Connor has spent the last 17 years in fine dining kitchens perfecting his craft and now at Skillet Diner, striving to make delicious food that is sourced responsibly and is familiar to guests. Throngs of guests waiting in line outside for a chance to eat at Skillet Diner is not an uncommon sight.
