aTonalHits at the Howland
This accomplished duo -- pianist Illya Filshtinskiy and violinist Katha Zinn -- has performed around the world many times, from Asia to Turkey to Carnegie Hall. As suggested by their humorous name, aTonalHits specializes in performing not only the most challenging works by some of the most forward-thinking classical composers of the last century, but also such timeless masterpieces as in their recent project recording the complete sonatas for violin and harpsichord by J.S.
