Intro to Rain Gardens Workshop
Rain gardens collect rainfall and water from your roof downspouts to create a self-watering garden full of beautiful flowers and shrubs. They divert rainwater from flowing out into the storm drains picking up oil, dirt and garbage along the way that pollutes our creeks and rivers.
We will take you through a step-by-step process of designing and building a rain garden and provide information on the use of natural materials, organic soil and native plants.
Washington State University Clark County Extension Watershed Stewards and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program co-sponsor this Rain Garden Workshop.
