David Driver - MEMORY STATION : just some nice old songs

David Driver and Dana Lyn met while working on Heidi Rodewald and Donna DiNovellis' The Good Swimmer, a theatrical song cycle which will have its world premiere as part of Brooklyn Academy of Musics 2018 NEXT WAVE Festival. Their shared love of the classic American Songbook led them to this project, in which they get to explore some of their favorite songs (old, older, oldest; none brand new!) in a relaxed environment. Featuring songs by Rodgers & Hart, Peggy Lee, Burt Bacharach, Hoagy Carmichael, Henry Mancini, and many more.

David Driver has worked with luminaries like Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed, Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry, Heidi Rodewald, Stew, Richard Butler, and Roy Nathanson & The Jazz Passengers. He was in the original Broadway cast of the musical RENT, as well as the cult Off-Broadway rock opera PEOPLE ARE WRONG!, and has released a number of records with various musical projects. Dana Lyn has performed at Lincoln Center, Beacon Theater, BAM, Carnegie Hall and Town Hall, as well as many folk festivals and dive bars.
