Stumbling Murphy is Michelle Lavin, Ron Racine, Joe Murphy, Steve Hachadorian and Rob Gizzarelli.
Bassist Joe Murphy and guitarist Ron Racine have played in local cover bands together for many years, the last several with singer/keyboardist Michelle Lavin. They recently joined forces with accomplished percussionist Steve "Stix" Hachadorian and Rob Gizzarelli to form Stumbling Murphy.
Stumbling Murphy is Rhode Island's newest rock/cover band. Its goal is to be the best working rock/country/pop cover band in Rhode Island. Stumbling Murphy plays music from a diverse spectrum of artists and genres. The band covers many performers, including Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow, Neil Young, Kings of Leon, Melissa Etheridge, the White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, the Black Crowes, and many more.
Stumbling Murphy likes to have fun, and doesn't take itself too seriously, but does pride itself on delivering great music and a good time.
