An act of fate reunites Veronica with her familia after a thirty-year estrangement. She soon discovers her mothers forgiveness is due to Alzheimers memory loss, and her combative elder sister is less than happy to have her back. As they rebuild relationships, each woman must confront the secrets, lies, and sexual shame at the root of the family rift.
