The Dwells are a neo-Americana, cosmic folk duo comprised of Matthew Bean and Paige Califano. Their new album, "Don't Ever Leave Me Like You Do", is the second self-released and self-produced album. Randy Roos, recorded, mixed and mastered their newest album. In addition, America's foremost rock photographer, Henry Diltz (think The Doors Morrison Hotel, James Taylor's Sweet Baby James and The Eagles Desperado, to name a few) shot the cover. The sophomore album also features Will Cafaro on bass, John Wood on drums and John Mailander on mandolin and fiddle. Bean and Califano write and arrange all of their material and were touted as one of the "most promising up-and-coming local Americana acts" by Andrew Wilson of Boston Band Crush. "The amazing vocal duo," Wilson writes, "will have your eyes, ears and soul mesmerized by their near-telepathic rapport as performers, the finely-wrought nuance of each passing harmony, and the emotional directness of their songs."
Don't Ever Leave Me Like You Do is available for pre-order on iTunes and Bandcamp. The album will also be available for purchase on 12" vinyl.
