Art Honors recognizes artists, philanthropists and art educators with significant ties to Maine who offer MECA's students, as well as the public, powerful examples of lives in the arts.

MECA is proud to present the 2013 Honorees:

Dahlov Ipcar -- The Award for Leadership as a Visual Artist and the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Fine Arts
Candace Pilk Karu -- The Award for Leadership in Philanthropy and the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Fine Arts
Portland Museum of Art -- The Award for Leadership in the Visual Arts

A festive celebration on Floors One, Two and Three of the Porteous Building.

Advance tickets only. No tickets will be sold at the door. TICKET SALES END MAY 9 at NOON.

Patron Tickets $1,200
Patrons receive four tickets and a patron/sponsor reception with the Honorees in the Library at 5:00pm. The patron donation names a scholarship in Academic Year 13-14 and the donor can meet the student scholar at a fall reception. Patrons will be listed on all collateral.

Host Committee $250
One ticket, entry at 5:30pm, listing on all collateral.

General Tickets: $50
One ticket, entry at 5:30pm

No physical tickets. We will have your name on our list at the door.

Art Honors raises critical funds to support the College's mission to educate the next generation of creative individuals. Maine College of Art believes that the 21st century economy depends on artists to take leadership roles as public intellectuals and creative entrepreneurs.
