Something Old, Something New #10- Secret Sweeties: THE SMILING LIEUTENANT (1931) and ROXANNE (1987)
After a short break, the AMIA Student Chapter is BACK!! And to celebrate being back we are showing how much we love you by bringing you two films about love!! Not only only THAT, but the first film is a rare pre-code Ernst Lubitsch musical that was restored by none other than UCLA's own premiere restorationist (and man of legend) Bob Gitt!
The theme of this double-feature is Secret Sweeties...meaning love stories with a twist and a little bit disguised. But these films are rare delights and, as always, the AMIA Student Chapter plans to have wonderful things for everyone who attends!
