Childhood girlfriends Andy and Liv reunite to scatter Andy's father's ashes from LA to Austin where Liv will audition for the role of a vixen spy in a noir film. Between performing mini-funerals in surreal Southwestern landscapes, the girls practice being bad! Andy and Liv scramble through wreckage in the Mojave Airplane Cemetery, jump topless off cliffs in Sedona, turn sand dunes into projection screens at White Sands National Monument, climb oil rigs in West Texas and raise Hell in Austin.Shot on Super 16 mm film and digital, The Most Fun I've Ever Had With My Pants On features hilarious dialogue, mild military cross-dressing, and an incredible underground soundtrack. Performances by Sarah Hagan (Freaks and Geeks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and writer/director Drew Denny elicit lots of laughter and a few tears in this mixed media dark comedy that interweaves autobiography, documentary, fiction, and camp.The Most Fun I've Ever Had With My Pants On is an adaptation of a performance artwork Drew Denny presented on Father's Day 2011 after caring for her father as he died of pancreatic cancer. Combining pre-recorded score, live performed songs Drew wrote in the Cancer Treatment Center, and a narrative that involved audience participation and projection -- the performance allowed Drew to express her experience in the Cancer ward to an audience... which inspired the making of this film.
