Be Your Own Private Eye -- Nichols J. Smith

Three Sessions

You can become your own private detective in just three sessions!
At the first session, Tools of the Trade,you will learn how to find and use the online public records systems that will be the most useful to your research in the subsequent sessions. Your will also learn the legal authority that each citizen has to research public records and how to use it effectively.
At the second session, Catching/Preventing the Crook, you will look at the public records systems that can be used to protect you from the frauds and cons in the world. Your instructor will teach you the fundamentals of what professional fraud investigators look for when they look at database records.
At the third session, Disappearing from the Web, you will learn about the ways that you can reduce your Internet "footprint," remove yourself from databases and anonymize your web presence to reduce identity theft and stalking. Time permitting you will also learn what to do if you are the victim of what has become known as paper terrorism, using documents and electronic media to harass and harm.
Nichols J. Smith is a Licensed Professional Private Investigator with 44 years of licensed practice in the State of California. He is a Court qualified Expert in Investigations, Security and Asset Investigations.
