ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP: Instagram is rapidly becoming a must-have digital destination for people aiming to showcase their work and grow their following. For artists especially, Instagram is a prime platform not only to expose your work to a global audience, but also to make connections and access opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach. This workshop will offer an introduction on how to utilize Instagram to build and engage your online audience as an artist. We'll cover best practices for navigating Instagram's latest features, how to define your feeds style standards and mood, which free and affordable tools you can use to help plan your content, and pro tips for making sure your posts reach your target community. You'll leave this workshop with 4-6 posts scheduled and the tools to maintain an effective Instagram brand strategy.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Briaan L. Barron is a brand strategist, content creator and designer working to humanize big businesses and amplify small ones. She has spent over a decade building her knowledge base in communications, entertainment, and visual storytelling, working and learning under corporations like Ruff Ryders Entertainment and MTV Networks. Currently, she is the brand manager of jcoco Chocolate, founder of the blog and creative firm Branding By Bri, and creator of the lifestyle blog Floating Grove. Briaan strives to build brands for both products and people that are anchored by cultural competence and polished aesthetics.
