Cambria Pinedorado Follies
Featuring the world premiere of Shakedown in Slabtown, a musical comedy about the eminent doom of our charming little village of Cambria, written and directed by Randy Schwalbe. The story is about good vs. evil: An evil construction company attempting to urbanize the Cambria Village and an environmental justice team attempting to stop this plan. Adventure, intrigue, historical references, plot twists, and even romance are all interwoven in the story line. And this show features popular songs accompanied by a live orchestra led by Jeff Mar and dazzling dance routines choreographed by Shirley Kirkes-Mar. This zany, high-energy musical is all about Cambria whose cast, crew, and orchestra are all Cambria residents (except one--you will have to see the show to learn who this nefarious outsider is). The 2018 Follies will be the most fun and exciting two hours you will spend this entire year, guaranteed (again, you will have to see the show to find out how).
