OperaRocks: An Unconventional Classical Gala
At Verismo Opera Theater, our slogan is "OPERA ROCKS!", and with good reason! Who can listen to "Di Quella Pira", Rossini's "William Tell" Overture, or the Gypsy dance from Carmen and not have their heart racing with excitement? Opera was the original Rock music before the invention of the Stratocaster and Wah-wah pedal.
Come and join VOT as we kick off 2013 with a BANG! We proudly present: "OperaRocks: an
unconventional classical gala". This event will blow the lid off! We will crank out only the greatest hits turned all the way up to 11! Featuring stars of VOT's past productions of Magic Flute and some other surprises. Performers will be wearing looks courtesy of Rachel Frank Design. This will be an event full of glamour and high-octane music. A one-of-a-kind experience with something for everyone!
Your ticket even includes delicious dinner, and an up close and personal concert like you have never seen before!
Dinner begins at 5:30, concert at 6:30. Cash bar will be available
