Small Business Lunch at Halls Signature Events
The King Street Marketing Group and Hall Management Group are pleased to welcome
Kevin Mills, CEO of the South Carolina Aquarium as our guest speaker at Small Business Lunch at Halls, Thursday, June 7 at Halls Signature Events, 5 Faber Street in downtown Charleston.
South Carolina Aquarium CEO Kevin Mills is no stranger to working alongside animals.
Mills landed in the Lowcountry almost a decade ago following his work at the St. Louis Zoo, where he was vice president of external affairs and marketing. He's also served on the board of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and Animals Inc.
The University of Kansas journalism graduate took the reins of the aquarium in January 2006. The 93,000-square-foot attraction houses 6,243 species and operates on an $11 million annual budget. It's also one of the top tourist draws in the state, pulling in about 425,000 visitors to the Concord Street waterfront annually.
Each month, Small Business Lunch at Halls features a distinguished speaker from the business, civic or political arenas.
