The Sabbra Cadabra 15th Anniversary Meltdown
Fifteen years ago, this evil world begat one of its most insidious musical entities: Sabbra Cadabra. Since then, the motley quartet has gone on to establish itself as the universe's premiere Black Sabbath tribute band (Ozzy even wore one of their t-shirts on The Osbournes). Described by Time Out New York as "better than the actual reunited band," on Saturday night, May 31st, Sabbra Cadabra will play their 15th Anniversary Meltdown, at Johnny Brenda's in Philadelphia. http://www.myspace.com/sabbracadabrarules
Also appearing is Clitallica, a wretched combination of gals from Queen Diamond (as in the all-gal King Diamond tribute band) and from the Paul Green School of Rock, performing Metallica's Master of Puppets in its entirety.
And finally, La Resistance (members of which you might recognize from over-the-top metalists Wastoid) completes this trinity of pain with their speedy politico-metal diatribes. http://www.myspace.com/laresistance696
