Resin Studio- Dad's Day Edition

Steampunk artist and guest instructor Shelly Jackson hosts a Resin Pouring Studio with TWO project options!

RESIN MONEY CLIP & KEYRING: Make dad a one of a kind gift this year using resin and any background you can imagine with guest instructor Shelly Jackson. Learn resin basics while creating a money clip and key chain filled with all kinds of tiny, three dimensional brick-a-brack from the instructor's extensive collection, or bring a small keepsake of your own to seal in the resin. COST: $45

RESIN COASTERS: This a quick, fun introduction to working with resin polymers. The hardest part about this workshop is thinking backwards as you must plan your design carefully, then lay it in the coaster mold from the top down. You will then mix and pour your own resin, adding color and sparkle if you choose. Students make two coasters.

The most important part of these classes is to express your own style and learn the basics of the technique. Give yourself and hour and a half to two hours to complete.

Wear tight or short sleeves and, preferably, clothes you might paint in.

NOTE: Finished pieces will be available for pick-up 48 hours after workshop or next business day unless they require touch up.

Class is appropriate for ages 12-adult.
