We will be discussing the steps vegetable and fruit farmers need to go through to sell their produce and fruit as Organically Certified in the State of Washington.
-how to prepare your farm and production areas for certification, -record keeping, -use of approved farm inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, soil amendments etc. -the official list of approved products that can be used on a certified organic farm -labeling, -use of logos, -expectations during an inspection and -proper handling and processing to prepare crops for sale.
